That should have been 'accelerator FOOT', not 'food'. We need an edit
facility <g>.

If you've got reasonably high short term pain tolerance, here's how I got rid
of mine. I had mine on my accelerator food, and I drive trucks, so was very
painful for several weeks.

I purchased a packet of sticky caustic pads from chemist, there are various
sizes in the packet.

I placed a pad on the wart, starting with appropriate size pad and working up
to larger sizes over some days {can't remember how long this took now, it may
have been weeks?}. As the pads burnt away the skin over time, and increasing
the size of pads proportionately until the hole got big enough to enable me to
get a pair of *GOOD* tweezers in there and I pulled the root out.

  There were three roots in total, the first two were very pointy {like a dart}
and bled considerably for short time, the third and final root was totally
different in appearance, it was rounded on the end and not pointy. I figured
this was the main one, and the other two were 'saplings' shooting off from this
one.

After removing the rounded one, with nil bleeding to speak of, the whole
thing cleared up.

Be warned though, pulling these things out can be *extremely* painful, but
only instant short term pain {shove a pencil between your teeth <g>}, so make
sure you grab hold of a good length of the root before yanking it out, and
ensure the hole is big enough to expose enough of the root.

Took me several goes yanking at mine cos I had a crappy pair of tweezers,
can't seem to buy tweezers with GRIP.

  Subject: CS>Question ??

I have a question for anyone who can help me ... I have what seems to be a
plantar's wart on both of my feet ... the left foot is worse than the right
foot ... They are located on the top pads of both feet. The area around the
warts is pretty hard, like a hard callous. Several months ago someone on this
list said they had cured a wart by putting duct tape over the top of the wart,
left it on for 7 days and the wart came out at that time with a long tail on
it... I took your suggestion and placed duct tape on both feet over the warts
.. I left the tape on the warts for 8 days... when I took it off, nothing had
changed, I still had the warts. One strange thing did happen, since I put the
duct tape on the wart on the left foot, the arch on my left foot itches
incessantly, the itching never stops. Can anyone on this list please offer me
some suggestions as to how to remove these warts without going to a doctor or
using modern medicine? I'm not a fan of either of the above solutions.
Question... if I use the duct tape again and leave it on longer than the 8
days, would I have any better success? Truly, I am at my wits end, the warts
have gotten so sore it is making it very hard for me to walk .. When I do
walk, afterwards my feet hurt so badly and I have a burning sensation around
the wart area. Please, any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
Thank you .. Judy
