on the image server, what does "netstat -a|grep rsync" show?
That will tell you if the rsync server is actually even listening. then, if you can, from another, working linux box, run "rsync imageservername::scripts ." in a temporary directory. what do you get? run this test while doing a tail -f on /var/log/messages on the image server.

I started the systemimager-server-rsycnd service and

ah, okay, that's an easier problem. Did you start
the systemimager rsync
server in /etc/init.d? can't remember the actual
name of the script, but
it'll be obvious which one it is. You have to have
done an addclient first.

I used the "cdrecord dev=ATA:1,0,0 -sao
filelocation/filename"command and I was able to

write

to my cd.
I tried to run the autoinstallcd i just created

but i

get this error:
"rsync:failed to connect to my dhcp
adddress:connection refused"
i need help pls

so, "cdrecored dev=1,0,0 imagename.iso" doesn't
work?
