the image I'm trying to place on the box is linux, but
the box I'm trying to place an image on originally did
not have linux on it.
The imageserver and the target box are not exactly
similar:the imageserver is a dell gx260 and the target
box is a dell gx270.
Yes i was dropped into a busybox prompt and when i
typed /sbin/ifconfig i got
etho ......

lo   ........

it gav me the complete configuration as would be
xpected i guess..
