If it is in fact computer controlled injection, it may not respond well to
the higher viscosity of SVO (even when heated to usual temps., it is still
of higher viscosity than diesel. Heating gets SVO into an acceptable range
for many engines, but not all of them.)

Are the wires for computer controlled, or are they for a filter heater or
some other device? Find out for sure and  go from there.
