Generally I think you have a good point. I do want to point out that I think it was Oregonian legislators who were pretty up-front about trying to put extra taxes on hybrids in order to make up for lost fuel-tax revenues. So, maybe once in awhile you have some legislators who are more up-front in dealing with this issue.
