Right, this is proof texting.  I have had my fill of proof texting with the C/C.  YOU CAN TAKE ANY ONE VERSE AND MAKE IT MEAN ANYTHING YOU WANT IT TO MEAN!

If you stand by 1 John 1:8, you had better read it in context.  I stand by 1
John 1:8 too, because it is foundational for my teaching on Christian
perfection.
