*I the mean time I made an image with McCasslin, too see what will happen booting with LAN enabled will cause a long delay. Then the console screen will blink after some buttons pushed it will appear normal. Startx won't do a thing. If the NIC is disabled startx will run automatically, but no mouse support :) (I can see the desktop The menlow plaftform will boot startx manually, dmesg shows an error for the onboard.* My purpose for this is to make a customized kernel + GUI for a carpc application. What is the best way to go, going forward with moblin of another solution. Any suggestions are welcome Greetz Bob On Wed, Jul 30, 2008 at 8:07 PM, Rusty Lynch <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Wed, 2008-07-30 at 17:08 +0200, Bob Peters wrote: > > In reply to the subject: > > Ubuntu MID & the Intel Atom D945CGLF: Does this make sense? > > > > I very new to mailing lists and to the community Ubuntu-mobile. > > > > I have recently bought a D945GCLF and want to customize an OS for this > > board, for a carpc and other cool stuff.
