Thats all true, Carwyn. But when I originally said "send it to us in xml over http". I wasn't talking about XML based short message application Protocol (SMAP). You mentioned SMPP which is not strictly XML but binary based PDU and is generally tranported over TCP/IP and X.25 not text based protocols like http. The SMAP system will address these issues but it's still in draft last time I checked.
