One of the primary things Wikidata was supposed to do is manage interlanguage links for Wikimedia projects. That isnt finished until Wiktionary joins the other multi-language families in Wikidata. It looks like Task 1 of this Wiktionary-Wikidata plan will achieve that goal, and the migration will be extremely quick.
