Hi Nat, I skipped 8.5-8.6 but did run 9.0.4 & 9.1 on my 6300. I didn't notice it being much slower til I was helping a friend out later. I put in a bigger drive, partitioned it, & test drove 7.6.1 for them before putting it on their Performa 630. I still prefer the look & feel of OS9.
