Other than the fact that the computer whines over the
ROM, it seems to work fine, so no one tell me to go
run and buy a new Mac.

There are really only two problems that are bugging
me.
First, the CD ROM drive doesn't seem to work. It
opens, makes the spinny noise, and then nothing. Any
tips there?

And the extensions aren't properly working, and
several control panels don't work. Could this problem
be related?

This is actualy the fastest Mac I've ever had. I have
been using a Duo 280c, but I finaly traded it off. It
seems like a nice computer but it's loaded to the
brink with "educational" software and nothing useful.
