I have gotten this error occasionally with 4D v14 and v15 running under
both Win 7 and Win 10 on Mac/El Capitan & VMWare Fusion. Most instances
occur when switching back to the Design Environment. But, occasionally it
happens at launch. It also happens *much* more frequently on Win 10. I've
never identified the source. I have just been re-launching 4D and I'm
usually OK.
