Hey John, Thanks again for trying. I kill the worker from *within* the worker *after* closing the file. It *usually* works. But "usually" is worthless when the consequences of it not working are a dead server.
4D has accepted it as a bug in, I think 16.0. they just haven't fixed it. For now, I'm not using files from workers. I'm streaming C_OBJECTS over CALL WORKER, invoking a method that transforms the results, bundles it up and then pushes the data in batches to Loggly.
