John, I'll second Bruno's suggestion and suggest you go get his component to do it.
I've been using it for at least a year managing about 50k docs in AWS. It works well and AWS is very cost effective for light duty like this. I think we are paying ~$10 a month for all the stuff we use. It is really convenient to be able to work with AWS URLs for these things.
