Am I missing something? > You can get setup using your Amazon account and that's fine for development - although you only ever get one year free. In my case I rolled the development into production without splitting it off and at that point moving was involved and now it would be a deal. So now I've got this production stuff in my personal account. Not a huge issue, I just bill them for the costs. I suppose that could be a feature instead of a bug. The next time I'll setup an Amazon account in the client's name, or use their existing Amazon account. That way the billing liability is on their credit card instead of mine. Another benefit of that path is they get the free 1 year package. Of course if this is all for you anyway none of this matters.
