Kirk, no I am not concerned about the cost. Just trying to understand how it
works. The decision has been made to forge ahead using S3. Before I create an
account for development I want to be sure that I am not painting my self into a
corner which is what I gleaned from your warning.
After watching Bruno’s presentation on 4DMethod, I don’t think I will be doing
anything with the account itself except to create it. For my situation I think
4D will be doing everything on the fly…
Upload a file
Email the returned download link to the user (maybe create a bucket for
the user, maybe not)
So it should not make any difference what account 4D is working with, right? I
would think that I can work with one account for development use another
account deployed. I don’t want my client using my development account and I
don’t want to develop using his account. Does that make sense or am I missing
something.
Sorry to belabor the point, just trying to understand before I create my first
S3 account.
