Hi Ralf,

The instructions you found are to install Ubuntu ON a USB stick, which 
is not so useful in my opinion, because of speed issues.

You want to install from USB onto your hard drive:

http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-install-ubuntu-linux-from-usb-stick.html

In the instruction above, just substitute the ubuntu ISO with your 64 
Studio 3.0 ISO, as far as I can tell.

Try it, and let us know how it went...
