Hi :)

I did my first LightScribed with Linux. The first text is "64 Studio
3.0-beta2 amd64". Back to the topic, following
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/ubuntu-804-usb-hard-drive-install/, but
instead of using the Ubuntu CD, I booted the 64 Studio 3.0-beta2 amd64
CD, it was easy to get 64 Studio on an USB stick.

I tried to partition the USB stick by GParted, but it didn't work the
way I wanted it. GParted is able to format only one partition, even if
the first partition is the extended partition, anyway, the installer is
able to format more than one partition, but extras like a primary FAT32
seems to be impossible.

Now I have a bootable 64 Studio 3.0 hard disk install on an 8GB USB stick.

I guess 2GB are enough, if someone will remove some unneeded packages
after the install and write data to another media.

GParted:

/dev/sdb1 ext3 7.16 GiB Size 1.81 Gib Used 5.35 Gib Unused
/dev/sdb2 extended 376.52 MiB Size
/dev/sdb5 linux-swap 376.49 MiB Size

Now I have 2 questions about 64 Studio 3.0 ...

To be continued with another subject.

Cheers,
Ralf
