I read about it yesterday and it seems to be, that low-coast sticks like
the one I ordered, are only able to do 10,000 write cycles.

That's all I want to have, a portable Linux and ...

... to have a media to transport data from home, to friends, BUT only
copies of the data I have on my hard disks.

I didn't know about the safeness of USB sticks, but this was something I
read about very carefully yesterday. Anyway, it was a good idea to warn
me, thank you.
