UDF, exactly UDF 1.5 was made as universal format for DVD and DVD-RAM data exchange, that's why it should work. But there seems to be a bug by Linux, Windows or both. FAT is a hacked fs, e.g. file names are limited to a size, but this size is increased by a hack, for long names there are used several directory entries. I won't read about FAT, I'll read more about how to make UDF compatible. There seems to be no problems between MacOS and Windows and maybe it's to solve for exchange with Linux too. -- Best, Ralf
