Popular music needs to be mixed with less dynamic! If the consumer will
listen to music while driving a car, while working, in a bar, you can't
master it "natural", "linear". You need to take care that every
instrument can be heard. There is no classic recording you can listen
to, while you do your job as a lorry driver ;), but popular music with
less dynamic is fine in such a situation.

A book about how to get the most natural and best sound quality isn't a
help, if you do common usage music.
