Well, I THINK you can, but this kind of cross-platform experiments are always a bit risky. However, I have been running the same 2.6.29-1-common-multimedia kernel with Debian Lenny, Sidux, Ubuntu Hardy and Mint 5, I would not be surprised if it (and the corresponding headers) would work with Jaunty too.
