How will you know if there are lies about you if you don't read the message? > > As long as there are lies about me, I like to defend me against those lies. > That is how some of us feel about your inaccurate posts. To be clear, I am not implying that all of your posts are inaccurate, but some of them clearly are. A recent example was your complaint that Bash did not handle arrays. This was clearly not an accurate statement of Bash's capabilities. The error was in your testing methodology and in your understanding of the technology. This is not a bad thing. What is bad is not taking the time to do your homework. In the end I want you to be a successful user of FLOSS software. Even more, I want you to become a successful *contributer* to this or any other FLOSS community. To this end I really hope that you read and understand Eric Raymond's suggestions: Again in English: http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#translations and in German: http://www.tty1.net/smart-questions_de.html -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iD8DBQFK11IKwRXgH3rKGfMRAnj3AKCRBtxtArYXPO87xCivOQwmJYS47QCePFxp PzGr8gJbZr+AD/6BtFugoqw= =uzS/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ 64studio-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.64studio.com/mailman/listinfo/64studio-users
