Umm..

What is a Mutt account?

You have shell access? Can run applications, daemons, etc... ?

If so... you want to check out fetchmail

Fetchmail will run a single process and based on the schedules you set,
fetch all your mail from each external pop or imap account and either
submit to a local MTA for additional processing, run it through procmail
or just store to a file.
