LOL Blake you have been watching too many Stargate episodes, how do you like Tilq with hair! I think it is probably best explained by saying that Desktop is just a folder (Directory) on the hard drive just like any other folder and in my case with W98se it is on the following path: C:\Windows\Desktop Have a look at this folder Janet and you will see all your desktop items in this folder so when you save a file to Desktop it appears as a nice little icon on tour screen but has actually been saved to C:\Windows\Desktop folder. So you could create a folder called 'Dodgy Attachments' on the path say: C:\My Documents\Dodgy Attachments and save your attachments in this folder, it would be no different to saving to Desktop folder. With NAV you can just right click any file in any folder and choose 'Scan with NAV', there is no difference whether it is in the Desktop folder or any other folder.
