I'm runnin Win. ME and I have my basic image files (GIF, JPG, PNG)
set to open in the Image Preview to display them quickly. For some
reason, the icons keep changing to the Image Preview icon off and
on. I got them changed back last time to the default image icons,
but I can't get it for nothing this time!!

I have already when into Folder Options, File Types. Under each of
the image extentions listed, it only gives me the option to change
what program opens the files and to restore them to the default
(which was some program by Microsoft I do not want to use.. Photo
Editor I think it was called).

How can I change the image icons back to default without changing the
program type again?

Also, is there a way I can completely delete that Photo Editor off
the system? I do not use and it prefer it not be on the computer. I
have tried to remove it through the MS OFfice installation disk but
despite telling it to be removed, it's still on the computer.

I know this isn't a huge problem, but I work a lot with images and
would prefer to have the correct icons to make it easier to find the
correct file types of the files I need to use.

THanks!
