Ok Tae, it gets a bit more complicated but still no problem, try this
1. Start>Settings>Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced>Monitor
Make a note of the monitor listed (write it down), and click Change>Next you
can now let Windows
search for a better driver by checking the box and clicking Next.
Has this worked? If not go to step 2. below
2. If this doesn't work follow the same procedure but instead of allowing
Windows to search for a
better driver select the other option "Display list" then Next>
3. At this point you can either insert a disk with your monitor's drivers OR if
you don't have a
disk, check box "show all hardware" and two windows will appear. In the left
hand window will be a
list of manufacturers and in the right window a selection of monitors produced
by that manufacturer,
can you find yours, if so select it then Next>Next>Finish.
4. If you can't see your monitor you could try selecting "Standard Monitor"
from the left window and
in the right window click on and select "Super VGA 800 x 600". Now click on
Next/ Next/ Finish.
5. You should now be back to settings. First ensure that the "screen area"
sliding tab is set to
800 x 600 (which it should already be set to) and the "colour" on the left hand
side should be set
to "256 colours" or "True colour 32 bit"
You may now have to re-boot.
If this still doesn't work we will need to know type of monitor you are using
and search for and
download the correct drivers and install them

No it doesn't give me the option for "True Color". I ran into
this issue about 5 years ago.....and for the life of me I can't
remember what I did to clear it up.
