Hi Jim: I move the My Documents folder to my Data Partition using the "Move" command to get the folder off the OS partition and it works in the data partition the same as it did in "C". Then I use the "Move" command to move Favorites, My OEM drivers, My eBooks (for my manuals) off the OS drive into the My documents folder in the data partition. Pictures, Movies and and music are automatically moved with My Documents. Then I create 7/8 other assorted Sub-folders in My Favorites for other data. Then I have only one Mother folder to SYNCHRONIZE with my external drive. My pictures of course I also use the "sendto" command to create masters on my DVD burner. I've re-installed the OS many times over the years but I have never lost data. But I believe most people feel invulnerable and will not use this information.
