I have a USB Mouse..it came with the keyboard..I prefer PS2 so I bought a 
rinky dink usb to ps2 plug/converter and it works like a charm..--Phyllis

The USB with Ps/2 extension is the exact same thing as a Ps/2 mouse.
It would have issues just asthis one has.
