Maybe Restore was turned off. Some IT people suggest to do that. If it is turned off then there IS nothing to restore to. You can tell that this is so if no dates on the restore calendar are highlighted. And there will be no notes with names of the restore point. The only solutions to this are: Suck it up! :-) OR run the computers rescue program, either from the disks or the program on the computer. The latter is the way most recently the companies have handled restoring. There is a hidden drive on the computer where the restore files are saved. Look for something in Start, All Programs that has the mfg. name or the words restore or rescue, etc. Jim ------------------------ Yahoo!
