The first thing that comes to mind to do is to try to get into the bios 
setup. But it sounds like you don't have anything on the screen which would 
indicate that this is possible. I have rarely had this kind of problem and 
nothing now comes to mind that you could do. I suppose that if I have no 
suggestions that I should not reply but I know that not getting a reply may 
be worse than one that doesn't provide any help. :-)
