I think you may need a new CMOS battery if your computer has not been
powered up for a month.
I suppose that this is possible, but I have strong doubts. The only part of
the Bios that reques a battery is the bios SETTINGS. I think the rest of the
bios should work since it is in ROM, read only memory. I could be wrong but
be advised that I could also be right, meaning that there may be some other
problem.
