Do you mean conncect via dialup? If that's what you mean have you cheched
for startup program using msconfig. Go to Start, Run then type msconfig.
Then click on the startup tab. Look for something that looks like a dial up
program. If you find one you can uncheck it to keep it from running. While
you are there you can check for any other unwanted startup programs.
If you don't mean dial up then I have no idea what the problem is since
internet connections that are not dial up are supposed to connect at
startup.
