Thanks Chris. I will have to ask exactly what she gave him. I don't know
if it is a new one with XP on it or if she refurbished an old one she
had (or obtained) and put her copy of Windows XP on it. I am kind of
leery about the Linux boot disk thing. I had a class in Linux about 4
years ago but honestly can't remember much :-)
I will find out more and ask more specifically once I get some answers.
