Well so would so many of Rupert but I do some who stick to the old systems for one reason or another. The one redeeming thing about 98 was that it was stable, at least it was when 98 mark 2 came along and it was so easy to just reinstall when things went ape on you.
I liked ME but then I am always swimming against the tide. XP in its early days was a real pain at times till those updates came on stream. Reading through some of that stuff on Emile's site I saw somewhere that someone was installing W98 as dual boot with XP and I was surprised to read his comments that it is now difficult to get drivers and indeed AV protection for W98 OS. In all honesty, if I was Harry, I would give up on W98 and go out and buy an XP upgrade but it really depends upon his PC spec. Would you believe that contrary to what most people say, I actually installed an XP upgrade over an ME pc which had only 64mb RAM ... a wee bit slow ;-) but it ran ok and far more stable than ME.
