What astonishes me is that you have not been reading my
responses. Is it possible that my messages do not get
through? I try so many of your suggestions and reply, as I
am doing now, but you chide me for not answering. It's true
I've had a number of problems, but I thought that's what
this group was for. Am I wrong? Or are we supposed to ask
forgiveness for having problems in the first place? I don't
for the life of me understand your message. Would you please
reply to this message saying you have received it. If you
haven't I will understand your complaint. Otherwise, I am
totally baffled by what you have written here.

See, that's what I mean. You bawl me out for asking for
help. You still don't know what I want. I ask specific
questions and try to give as much information as possible
about my problems. I reply when you suggest answers, but you
say I don't. It's possible there's something very wrong
here. Perhaps my emails are not getting through. Please
answer and tell me if you receive my replies. If not, I'll
disconnect from the group, lick my wounds and admit I came
to the wrong place.

No, I haven't. I am still trying to find the CD where it is
located. Now, I just replied to that question. No doubt you
will say I don't obey your suggestions. What can I do?
Walter
Walter I have just read this and must say that like Jim I find trying to
answer questions that appear strung together rather difficult because often
in computing one problem can have a number of related causes.
So could I suggest you do stay around and just ask one question at a time and
get that sorted from the replies, before going on to the next. Ivan appear now
to have suggested a Backup package that you are going to try. We would all like
to hear how you get on with it.
