Emile AOL is for me far to cumbersome to use by choice, but that said, it
does use its own filters to stop spam. Some say they lose normal mail that
way:-)

It will also so have included its McAfee virus pregame that you pay for in
ISP fees.

We know that much is inadvertently thought to be a virus problem but we
cannot on this list assume anything and in my view it is better to answer
the users anxiety first. A scan will at least tell the user no it not that.

I always try to go from where the user is in their thinking , not where I
think they should be?

Hi:
Funny you should say that, cumbersome, I hardly think so. AOL appears as
fast as anything else I've tried and certainly the easiest to use, and the
settings let me do things the way I want them.

Free never seems to be the best deal, and for me with McAfee, $9.95 a
month is little to pay for all the security and peace of mind I get, and
besides, McAfee is not what I pay for but rather the AOL services I get.

And, I prefer not to assume anything until the problem has been identified.
I have been in one repair business or another for over 55 years and I
learned that, to make a living at it, one could not afford to do work that
did not
lead straight to the identified problem. It's a good thing Doctors don't
work your way. I sure would hate being treated for the flue if I had malaria.

But, come to think of it, some DRs do work that way, or so it seems.
But, I guess, everybody has their way and I don't usually criticize anybodies
choices or methods. Seems though that the person said they already had Virus
protection that had not identified a virus. Bye.
