It is not good advice to say AV programs are not required though because they patiently are very needed. Hi: Whoa! I have NEVER suggested you did not need a Virus program. I suggested, to someone with a problem, that running from one Virus program to another, where there is not evidence a virus is the problem, is not a good diagnostic procedure. Before I suggest more virus scans I would need to have some evidence the problem is in fact a Virus. What are the symptoms. In this case yet we have not yet been told. For viruses I use the free McAfee suite for AOL, and I can't remember ever getting a virus. It's been more that five years with this free virus program without a virus. Seems that needs to be more than just luck. No Virus means it works 100% and that is what I look at. I reinstalled Vista in an XP Laptop as DualBoot a month ago, without a virus program on Vista, and am still waiting for my first virus. Just a test I'm doing. I want to se how long it takes.
