You get in before me Donk, but just add that he must have router and
computer connected by Ethernet cables.

To change the password: Open a browser. Type 192.168.1.1 into the 

Address bar. For username - leave it blank. For password type in admin. 

Change the password to what ever you want. 

 

To change the passphrase: Do the above to enter router setup. Enter a 

New passphrase. Click OK. 

 

Pretty simple, and it's all in the manual.
