These days you can have the router supplied by your service provider or go buy one yourself like Jim and I do or you can now buy a set up to make the signal travel round the house via the electrical wiring circuit, but that only cover the house. To go further you need the wireless card in you computer to send the signal to the router.
You do not pay extra for the wireless, only for the equipment. I guess some ISPs will provide it, I personally bought a wireless router so that my daughter can get internet upstairs in her room. I also wanted my wife to use it on here notebook computer, but she spent no more than a few weeks on it and hasn't touched since. :-( Jim [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ If you have any questions or problems with any aspect of this site, please feel free to contact me directly [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please do not post personal issues directly to the group.
