thanks for explanation. Based on these facts regarding wireless, the only use I 
can think for it for me would be if I'm visiting a store that offers wireless. 
Does that mean I have to have an account, or do they have the account and give 
it to me for free?

There's more than one way to get wireless within your home. I guess  

some ISPs will provide it, I personally bought a wireless router so  

that my daughter can get internet upstairs in her room. I also wanted  

my wife to use it on here notebook computer, but she spent no more  

than a few weeks on it and hasn't touched since. :-(
