DONK--Thank you for your help...BUT I found the problem. For some reason, all the wordpad files were changed from rich text to Doc. files. I think it happened when I burned them to cd from my old Win. 98 computer and then dragged them onto my laptop desktop into a folder. I noticed some things at "NONAGS" free utilities that say they will change files...would one of these convert these files back into rich text documents? Some of these free programs say they will convert "batch files" all at one time. That would really help me. I'm trying to get my song words so I can read the ones I don't know while my laptop is also playing my midi files into my p.a. system. Thank you very much!--ROBERT--
