Only if you have been accumulating temp files for a very long time
will deleting them help with a near filled drives. I don't use 'my
documents' to save my flles, but you may have enough files saved there
to buy some space. But if you have an external drive you can copy most
of your data files to it or burn them to a CD or DVD. But of course
make sure that they got burned properly to the source.
I'm also thinking that you need a lot more space on that partition. If
your computer has any apps that you never use you could uninstall them.
