Well, I read the booklet that came with it, and it seemed to indicate that if I ordered from a retailer I should contact the retailer. Perhaps Dell would have helped me anyway, but I was so nervous about being charged for it that I didn't want to register the computer until I was sure I would keep it. So I did not keep it.
