  First off, Windows can't give you more ram, what windows is calling 

  memory in this case if probably the space on the hard drive that 

  Windows uses when it needs more memory. It is swap space where Windows 

  swaps things in ram for this space on the hard drive. Although I never 

  heard of Windows changing that for you.
