If you're using your wireless adapter's utility to connect to the router
you could try letting windows handle it instead. That's worked for me
before.
Go to Start, Control Panel, Network Connections. Choose "view available
wireless networks".
Highlight your network and in the right side of window choose "Change
Advanced Settings".
Click the "Wireless Networks" tab, and check the box to "use Windows to
configure my wireless network settings".

Good luck,
Donk
