Ok, well another stab in the dark.... Right-click your wireless connection in Control Panel, Network Connections. Choose Properties. On the Wireless Networks tab highlight your network SSID and click the Properties button. On the Association tab be sure "Network Authentication" is "open". You could also try disabling the encryption just to help troubleshoot if you want. On the Authentication tab be sure the "Enable IEEE 802.1x "isn't" checked.
Another thing I would try is to disable your LAN in Control Panel, Network Connections. You should be able to connect to your other PC's wirelessly through the router with no prob. The LAN might be screwing with XP's attempt to connect to the wireless network. Heh, you've prob already done all that, but it's worth a shot if you haven't.
