Subject: [A-1-Computer_Tech] wireless connection problem
Hello,
I just got my Comcast high speed internet connected, and I
installed a US ROBOTICS 8054 wireless router to serve 3 computers in
the house.
My laptop (gateway MX6453) has been able to work on wireless
connections in different areas (holiday inn, my workplace, etc.), but
now it only connects through the LAN, while 2 others (1 PC and another
GATEWAY MX7118ï¼? work fine on this wireless connection.
If I open the wireless network utility,I can see the network present
with a strong signal, but when I click the connect button, the
wireless network connection window pops up, showing that it is trying
to connect to the network, until it stops and shows me the previous
window with the available network, ready to connect.
I've searched the net for an answer, but I haven't been lucky so far.
Anyone out there can help?
Thanks in advance for any tip/suggestion,
Alex
