Thanks, Donk, but I have done that...downloaded the drivers, etc. but it still says "no device installed". I'm not a tech, so I don't know where to get the device, or how to install it. From what I understand, this computer has a built-in soundcard...I know it doesn't have an outputs on a card on the back. It has outputs up on the computer case on the back, but not on a card. I'm in over my head on this stuff. I'm thinking I might just have to buy a soundcard and put it in this computer...but why are all the inputs/outputs on the back of the computer if there's no soundcard built in? It's a Dell Dimension E520. Thank you--ROBERT--
