Hi Robert -
In all the tech support I've ever done I've never seen a driver that
required a CD key to install.
Like Dale says, go to the Dell support site, look up your model
(Dimension E520) and download the audio drivers. Here's a link to the
Dell site (I'm assuming your operating system is WinXP?):
http://dell.to/aeiQgm
Click the "Audio" link to get the audio drivers. It lists both Sigmatel
and Creative Labs drivers. But I would install the Sigmatel ones
first. I still think the Creative entry is just some extra software
that you don't need to have your sound working properly.

Also, since I think you just installed a fresh copy of Windows XP? you
should probably check to see that "all" your drivers are installed and
working properly. Go to Start, Run and type DEVMGMT.MSC to open Device
Manager. If any of the devices are listed with a problem icon "!" you
should download and install drivers for all of them.

I'm not sure you'll be able to find the CD key for that Creative disk.
You could contact Creative's support site and explain your situation,
and ask them for the key - or at least ask them what is on the CD. But
I suspect it's something you don't really need.

Good luck,
Donk
